Follow these simple do’s and don’ts to make sure your spray tan goes on smooth, even, and lasts as long as possible! ⸻ 24-48 Hours Before Your Appointment: ✔️ Do: Exfoliate Use a gentle exfoliator or an exfoliating mitt to slough off dead skin cells. This creates a smooth, clean surface for the tanning solution to absorb evenly. ✔️ Do: Shave or Wax (if needed) If you plan to remove hair, do it before your tan. Shaving or waxing afterward can fade your tan quickly. ⸻ The Day of Your Appointment: ❌ Don’t: Use Lotion, Oils, or Deodorant Skip all moisturizers, deodorants, perfumes, and makeup before your appointment — they can create a barrier that prevents the solution from sticking to your skin. ✔️ Do: Wear Loose, Dark Clothing Tight clothes can rub against your fresh tan and leave streaks.
